There has been an interesting turn of events with Google’s engineer Blake Lemoine. He interacts with LaMDA which is Google’s artificially intelligent chatbot generator. LaMDA is an abbreviation of Language Model for Dialogue Applications which is developed by Google for acting as a chatbot. This mimics speech by ingesting trillions of words from the internet. As per Blake Lemoine he felt like “If I didn’t know exactly what it was, which is this computer program we built recently, I’d think it was a 7-year-old, 8-year-old kid that happens to know physics”.
